tangy

So far, I have only heard of the Pinkberry phenomenon. I live in Southern California, but not close enough to LA that I can head over there on a whim in search of fabled Korean frozen yogurt topped with fresh fruit-- especially if said frozen yogurt seems sort of expensive. If gas prices get much higher, I won't want to drive to LA for anything unless it's free!

Luckily for me, Heidi over at 101 cookbooks posted a very simple recipe for frozen yogurt... seriously, the ingredients are yogurt, sugar and optional vanilla. It was very tasty. I threw in some blackberries and that made it pretty exciting. My roommate might have been less excited by the idea of a loud churning machine, so we waited until the Law and Order episode was over and then we put the ice cream machine into the cupboard on top of a towel so it could churn somewhat quietly. Twenty minutes later, yum!
