scenery

There haven't been a lot of pictures here lately. I've been doing some cooking, mostly involving swiss chard from the garden and makeshift recipes like, "chop up potato and carrots, add to pot, throw in other random ingredients, cross fingers." I'm not joking. I made a quiche the other day and after pouring all the combined ingredients into the defrosted crust, I decided that it needed more eggs, so I scrambled another egg, poured it into the crust, and then futilely to mix it in with the rest of the stuff. There were potatoes in the mixture, so that didn't work very well. The top did turn out to be quite eggy, but otherwise it was ok.

A few weeks ago, I went to Arizona and took some pictures. Then my camera batteries died after not very long, since I think my rechargeable batteries have seriously declined in their storage capacity. I finally discovered a bunch of charged batteries and was able to upload this. Maybe sometime soon I will also take new pictures. Wouldn't that would be something?
