i blame my recent lack of posts on my newfound obsession with downloading podcasts. if anyone has any good cooking or hip-hop podcasts they would like send me to i'm more than willing to entertain suggestions. =)

a couple of weeks ago i came across a monster sized lemon in r's backyard. apparently their tree is some sort of mutant strain of lemon and the lemons are literally bigger than grapefruits. after much contemplation bub and i decided that the best way to illustrate the actual enormity of the lemon was to create our own version of the famous magritte painting.

i've decided that the fate of the humongo lemon is in the hands of a spoonful of sugar's IMBB recipe for triple lemon cupcakes. mmmm... my mouth is watering just thinking about them! tonights cupcake related activities consisted of making lemon curd to fill the center of the cupcakes... i'll let you all know how they turn out. =)
