socktoberfest

I decided to join , organized by Lolly. It's more of a month of appreciation of socks than a deadline-oriented knit-a-long, so the hope is that I won't feel stressed out or lame if I don't do a whole lot more than sit around thinking about socks and looking at sock yarn online. How could I say no to a hilarious stein of beer in the shape of a sock?

Some of my current sock inspirations are these knee-high socks, the ubiquitous Jaywalkers, the confusing to spell pomatomus, this color scheme (above), and some flummery socks.
