i am a fan of succulents. low maintenance and pretty are a combination i look for in plants.
over the past year or so i've amassed quite a collection of succlents. mainly due to my mom's fervent love the of the 99-cents only store. while out on the patio the other day i noticed that one of my cacti has started to sprout hair on his top! who knows what is going on here. hopefully that doesn't mean he's dying!
and as a side note.. isn't the bowl cute? it was a birthday present filled with succulents! pretty cool huh? and yes i do need to weed it.

I like how other plants have sprouted outside the bowl cluster. I have a similar cactus and it only sprouted "hair" when it looked healthy. I'm guessing it's a good thing :)
