rice!!

Here are the rice balls I made using the sadly shriveled tia to leaves. Fortunately, they still had flavor. I used sushi rice and crammed them into the handy dandy molds. Those things are very convenient! Next time, I'm thinking that I will use the whole leaves (hopefully unshriveled) and do some sort of strategic placement... and here is where I get a little weird... I was thinking pink rice would be cute. I guess it's not that weird, since there's the whole red beans and rice dish. Mmm...



When I was taking the other pictures, I wished that I had plates with more contrasting colors, so I took this one with my very colorful cutting board and... well, the knife was just there.
