One might think, after reading the last post, that I had learned my lesson. I would certainly read recipes all the way through before starting. Hahaha.
I began making Breton Sand Cookies, round buttery cookies like shortbread, from the same cookbook, only to realize at the very last step before refrigerating the dough that they are baked in muffin pans. Agghhh! Fortunately, this isn't as bad as the time I was making muffins and realized that I didn't have any muffin pans in the apartment, but it's bad enough. What stupid cookie recipe requires muffin pans?
I have time to figure out a plan while the dough solidifies. If I get desperate, I can freeze it, but this does nothing in the short term for my cookie craving.
