Deep fried

Last night, in a fit of inspiration to eat well and not do any work, I made these ganmodoki using a recipe from The Hungry Tiger. I pretty much followed the recipe and then made a dipping sauce with soy sauce, fish sauce, rice vinegar and green onions. If it is tofu, but deep fried, is it still healthy?




My bad cooking energy is mostly gone, but I think I need to get an oven thermometer. I made this lemon-almond buttermilk loaf today. The best part was slathering it with lemon juice after it baked. The top and bottom got a little too toasty, even though I gave it a protective foil hat and baked it 15 minutes less time than was recommended.
