year of the rooster

sort of belated, but that's the way we do things around here anyways. this weekend we celebrated the lunar new year with a gathering where, according to our family tradition, we ate, and ate, and ate, until it hurt to move. sandia made the trip up to celebrate with us (yay!) and i noticed that even lili was wearing red. unfortunately i forgot my camera (as usual) so i didn't catch any pictures of the food but next time i will. i promise!
