alice in wonderland

if i had a choice i would spend the upcoming weekend locked away in my apartment hidden away from everyone and everything. unfortunately “adulthood” dictates that i continue living my life in a conscientious manner. ideally, i would like to be able to escape from my own life on occasion to regroup, reorganize, and generally reflect on what i’ve learned (or should have learned) from my most recent experiences. right now i have a sort of alice-who-was-thrown-down-the-rabbithole-and-has-just-been-spit-back-out feeling. reorganization in the literal as well as figurative sense seems way overdue.
