Michael's coupon

According to this post by a member of the craftgrrl blog on livejournal, if you live in an area that doesn't have 40% off Michael's coupons in the newspaper, you can still get the discount. All you have to do is fill out a form at the checkout counter.

I'm not sure if I have the guts to try it, but I'm definitely intrigued by the idea.
