a month or so back, sandia headed up to northern california to revisit her roots. =)
in traditional sandia style, there were many projects on her mind as she headed up to her old stomping grounds. one of which was to get me up and running in the herb garden department. she started me out with about a dozen or so basil seedlings and a mini mint.
about a month, two vacations, and a week out of town for work later... there are still some survivors! there are about six seedlings still in the works and this pic shows the overachiever of the bunch. who knows how he ended up so big while his counterpart is less than half his size. at least they're alive!
