For ck's birthday, lf and I attempted to recreate the craft gym (sf) or art bar (santa ana) by displaying all of the arts and crafts supplies that we could find in lf's apartment. We made little crafting stations with placemats.
Ck made two fish, a clownfish and a blowfish, out of polymer clay.
Lf made two greeting cards with paints and handcut stencils.
I made two units out of 18 for this origami ball. I then put them in the same bag as the pizza leftovers, which I proceeded to throw in the garbage after putting the pizza in the refrigerator. Go figure.
I made up for lost time by folding like a maniac in front of the tv. My parents thought I had some sort of deadline because usually I am not so diligent about crafting. Meanwhile, I had been planning on making a quilt for a wedding gift and the wedding is in nine days. Hm.
