last weekend, to celebrate mom's birthday, we headed up to the russian river. i wasn't paying much attention during the car ride (aka lf was sleeping) but i awoke to see this sign...
...about two seconds later the driver hit the brakes!
one cow actually stopped in the middle of the road, turned his head, and was staring at us! i was too slow with the camera to actually catch it on film though. darn. we got so excited and made so much noise that the lady who was herding the cows was laughing at us. guess that makes us city folk! =)
