chive dumplings

I saw garlic chives at the grocery store one day and, for some reason, became obsessed with the idea of chive dumplings. You know how it goes. I used this recipe, but pre-made gyoza wrappers. I don't think they were thick enough and are a far cry from these examples that I just found today. They almost make me want to make my own wrappers. Almost.

I'm not sure, but I think the website that I linked to had this whole experiment on making the soup dumplings and all the different varieties of them. I haven't tried them. It sounds like I would burn my tongue, but that doesn't mean I'm opposed to trying them.
